The old building housing River
Trading Post dates back to
before the Civil War. 1856 to be exact. River Trading Post began in
2000, right in Dundee, Illinois. Today we are known in Santa Fe, New
Mexico , Scottsdale, Arizona and Dundee, Illinois as one of the leading
galleries of Native American art and artifacts anywhere. Many visitors to
our place believe that River Trading Post is a museum. But we just really
enjoy what we're doing to preserve the past and the vibrant present of our

continues to be in the classic old building in Dundee, Illinois.. where it all
began.
